Hi,

I'm Brandon

I started this journey out of a worry that my family wasn’t safe. I used to travel a lot and my family was always home alone. I didn't have a way to watch over them so I got a video camera and a door cam so that I could have some peace of mind.

Eventually my passion for home automation and security grew when I figured out that we could automate lights in my home and I could get reports of when my kids opened the front door so I knew they were home from school safely.

I know that there are more parents across the world that have the same concerns that I do but don't know how they can create a safer home for their families.

So I created this blog with how to’s and product reviews so that I could share my knowledge and experiences in home automation, security, and networking.
